لَمْ يَكُنِ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا مِنْ أَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ وَالْمُشْرِكِينَ مُنفَكِّينَ حَتَّى تَأْتِيَهُمُ الْبَيِّنَةُ

কিতাবীদের মধ্যে যারা কুফরী করে তারা ও মুশরিকরা, তাদের কাছে সুস্পষ্ট প্রমাণ না আসা পর্যন্ত (নিজদের অবিশ্বাসে) অটল থাকবে।

Those who disbelieve from among the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians) and among Al-Mushrikûn, were not going to leave (their disbelief) until there came to them clear evidence.

Not

يَكُنِ

ছিল (প্রস্তুত)

were

ٱلَّذِينَ

যারা

those who

كَفَرُوا۟

কুফরি করেছে

disbelieved

مِنْ

মধ্য হতে

from

أَهْلِ

অধিকারী

(the) People

ٱلْكِتَٰبِ

কিতাবের

of the Book

وَٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ

এবং মুশরিকদের (মধ্য হতে)

and the polytheists

مُنفَكِّينَ

(কুফরী হতে) বিরত

to be abandoned

حَتَّىٰ

যতক্ষণ না

until

تَأْتِيَهُمُ

তাদের কাছে আসবে

(there) comes to them

ٱلْبَيِّنَةُ

অকাট্য প্রমাণ (অর্থাৎ)

the clear evidence

رَسُولٌ مِّنَ اللَّهِ يَتْلُو صُحُفًا مُّطَهَّرَةً

আল্লাহর পক্ষ থেকে এক রাসূল পবিত্র কিতাবসমূহ তিলাওয়াত করে।

A Messenger (Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) from Allâh, reciting (the Qur’ân) purified pages [purified from Al-Bâtil (falsehood, etc.)].

একজন রাসূল

A Messenger

مِّنَ

পক্ষ হতে

from

ٱللَّهِ

আল্লাহর

Allah

يَتْلُوا۟

যে আবৃত্তি করবে

reciting

صُحُفًا

সহীফাসমূহ

pages

مُّطَهَّرَةً

পবিত্র

purified

فِيهَا كُتُبٌ قَيِّمَةٌ

তাতে রয়েছে সঠিক বিধিবদ্ধ বিধান।

Containing correct and straight laws from Allâh.

فِيهَا

তার মধ্যে (থাকবে)

Wherein

كُتُبٌ

বিধানাবলী

(are) writings

قَيِّمَةٌ

সঠিক

correct

وَمَا تَفَرَّقَ الَّذِينَ أُوتُوا الْكِتَابَ إِلَّا مِن بَعْدِ مَا جَاءتْهُمُ الْبَيِّنَةُ

আর কিতাবীরা তাদের কাছে সুস্পষ্ট প্রমাণ আসার পরই কেবল মতভেদ করেছে।

And the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians) differed not until after there came to them clear evidence. (i.e. Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) and whatever was revealed to him).

وَمَا

এবং না

And not

تَفَرَّقَ

বিভেদে লিপ্ত হয়েছে

became divided

ٱلَّذِينَ

(তারা) যাদের

those who

أُوتُوا۟

দেয়া হয়েছিল

were given

ٱلْكِتَٰبَ

কিতাব

the Book

إِلَّا

তবে

until

مِنۢ

থেকে

from

بَعْدِ

পরে

after

مَا

যা

what

جَآءَتْهُمُ

তাদের কাছে এসেছিল

came (to) them

ٱلْبَيِّنَةُ

সুস্পষ্ট প্রমাণ

(of) the clear evidence

وَمَا أُمِرُوا إِلَّا لِيَعْبُدُوا اللَّهَ مُخْلِصِينَ لَهُ الدِّينَ حُنَفَاء وَيُقِيمُوا الصَّلَاةَ وَيُؤْتُوا الزَّكَاةَ وَذَلِكَ دِينُ الْقَيِّمَةِ

আর তাদেরকে কেবল এই নির্দেশ দেয়া হয়েছিল যে, তারা যেন আল্লাহর ‘ইবাদাত করে তাঁরই জন্য দীনকে একনিষ্ঠ করে, সালাত কায়েম করে এবং যাকাত দেয়; আর এটিই হল সঠিক দীন।

And they were commanded not, but that they should worship Allâh, and worship none but Him Alone (abstaining from ascribing partners to Him), and perform As-Salât (Iqâmat-as-Salât) and give Zakât: and that is the right religion.

وَمَآ

এবং না

And not

أُمِرُوٓا۟

তারা আদিষ্ট হয়েছে

they were commanded

إِلَّا

এ ছাড়া যে

except

لِيَعْبُدُوا۟

তারা ইবাদত করুক

to worship

ٱللَّهَ

আল্লাহর

Allah

مُخْلِصِينَ

একনিষ্ঠভাবে

(being) sincere

لَهُ

তাঁরই জন্যে

to Him

ٱلدِّينَ

আনুগত্যকে

(in) the religion

حُنَفَآءَ

খাঁটি মনে

upright

وَيُقِيمُوا۟

এবং তারা কায়েম করবে

and to establish

ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ

সালাত

the prayer

وَيُؤْتُوا۟

ও তারা দেবে

and to give

ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ

যাকাত

the Zakah

وَذَٰلِكَ

এবং এটাই

And that

دِينُ

দীন

(is the) religion

ٱلْقَيِّمَةِ

সঠিক

the correct

إِنَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا مِنْ أَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ وَالْمُشْرِكِينَ فِي نَارِ جَهَنَّمَ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا أُوْلَئِكَ هُمْ شَرُّ الْبَرِيَّةِ

নিশ্চয় কিতাবীদের মধ্যে যারা কুফরী করেছে ও মুশরিকরা, জাহান্নামের আগুনে থাকবে স্থায়ীভাবে। ওরাই হল নিকৃষ্ট সৃষ্টি।

Verily, those who disbelieve (in the religion of Islâm, the Qur’ân and Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) from among the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians) and Al-Mushrikûn will abide in the Fire of Hell. They are the worst of creatures.

(6)

إِنَّ

নিশ্চয়ই

Indeed

ٱلَّذِينَ

যারা

those who

كَفَرُوا۟

কুফরি করেছে

disbelieve

مِنْ

মধ্য হতে

from

أَهْلِ

অধিকারী

(the) People

ٱلْكِتَٰبِ

কিতাবের

(of) the Book

وَٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ

এবং মুশরিকদের

and the polytheists

فِى

মধ্যে (থাকবে)

(will be) in

نَارِ

আগুনের

(the) Fire

جَهَنَّمَ

জাহান্নামের

(of) Hell

خَٰلِدِينَ

চিরস্থায়ী (হবে)

abiding eternally

فِيهَآ

তার মধ্যে

therein

أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ

ঐসব লোক

Those –

هُمْ

তারাই

they

شَرُّ

অধম

(are the) worst

ٱلْبَرِيَّةِ

সৃষ্টির

(of) the creatures

إِنَّ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ أُوْلَئِكَ هُمْ خَيْرُ الْبَرِيَّةِ

(7

নিশ্চয় যারা ঈমান এনেছে ও সৎকাজ করেছে তারাই সৃষ্টির সর্বোৎকৃষ্ট।

Verily, those who believe [in the Oneness of Allâh, and in His Messenger Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) including all obligations ordered by Islâm] and do righteous good deeds, they are the best of creatures.

(7)

إِنَّ

নিশ্চয়ই

Indeed

ٱلَّذِينَ

যারা

those who

ءَامَنُوا۟

ঈমান এনেছে

believe

وَعَمِلُوا۟

এবং করেছে

and do

ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ

সৎকাজ

righteous deeds

أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ

ঐসব লোক

those –

هُمْ

তারাই

they

خَيْرُ

সেরা

(are the) best

ٱلْبَرِيَّةِ

সৃষ্টির

(of) the creatures

جَزَاؤُهُمْ عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ جَنَّاتُ عَدْنٍ تَجْرِي مِن تَحْتِهَا الْأَنْهَارُ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا أَبَدًا رَّضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمْ وَرَضُوا عَنْهُ ذَلِكَ لِمَنْ خَشِيَ رَبَّهُ

তাদের রবের কাছে তাদের পুরস্কার হবে স্থায়ী জান্নাত, যার পাদদেশে নহরসমূহ প্রবাহিত, সেখানে তারা থাকবে স্থায়ীভাবে। আল্লাহ তাদের উপর সন্তুষ্ট হয়েছেন তারাও আল্লাহর উপর সন্তুষ্ট হয়েছে। এটি তার জন্য, যে স্বীয় রবকে ভয় করে।

Their reward with their Lord is ’Adn (Eden) Paradise (Gardens of Eternity), underneath which rivers flow, they will abide therein forever, Allâh Well-Pleased with them, and they with Him. That is for him who fears his Lord.

جَزَآؤُهُمْ

তাদের পুরস্কার (রয়েছে)

Their reward

عِندَ

কাছে

(is) with

رَبِّهِمْ

তাদের রবের

their Lord

جَنَّٰتُ

জান্নাত

Gardens

عَدْنٍ

চিরস্থায়ী

(of) Eternity

تَجْرِى

প্রবাহিত হয়

flow

مِن

দিয়ে

from

تَحْتِهَا

তার তলদেশ

underneath them

ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ

ঝর্ণা ধারা

the rivers

خَٰلِدِينَ

চিরস্থায়ী হবে

will abide

فِيهَآ

তার মধ্যে

therein

أَبَدًا

সর্বদা

forever

رَّضِىَ

সন্তুষ্ট হয়েছেন

(will be) pleased

ٱللَّهُ

আল্লাহ্‌

Allah

عَنْهُمْ

তাদের প্রতি

with them

وَرَضُوا۟

এবং তারা সন্তুষ্ট হয়েছে

and they (will be) pleased

عَنْهُ

তাঁর প্রতি

with Him

ذَٰلِكَ

এটা

That

لِمَنْ

তাঁর জন্যে যে

(is) for whoever

خَشِىَ

ভয় করে

feared

رَبَّهُۥ

তার রবকে

his Lord
